Maxine Ford - Official Tour GuideMaxine Ford qualified as an award-winning Blue Badge Guide in 2011 and enjoys working with family groups, societies, students, tour companies as well as businesses looking for ideas for client entertaining and employee recognition events. Although qualified to operate at interesting and historic sites all over London and the South East of England, Maxine specialises in Canterbury guided tours including guiding Canterbury Cathedral where she has undertaken additional training to become a Cathedral endorsed guide meaning that she is qualified to escort parties of guests without the requirement to book a separate guide for the cathedral.

Born and educated in London, Maxine has lived in the South East of England all of her life and, prior to taking-up tour-guiding professionally, worked in the media organising and delivering educational meetings.

Maxine says "I have lived in the Canterbury area for the last 20 years, but, as I was born within the sound of Bow Bells some people would still consider me to be a cockney from London!".
